Jack Cortex

Jack had been interviewed before, beside Shawn Machmon. He has agreed to a second interview at the Diner, under the deal that he is bought French Toast.

Interviewer: Hello Mr. Cortex, how are you doing today?

Jack: I’m fine, Sir. *nods head once*

Interviewer: Let’s get started then, shall we? When did you meet the ‘one that got away’ and how did you know it was her?

Jack: I met her the day I escaped the Lab. She gave me French Toast at that old diner. I knew it was her because the names matched up, and I could see how much she was holding back. Like, she was a volcano waiting to explode. I just had to light a spark and she could do the rest.

Interviewer: Light a spark? Did you know her Element was fire?

Jack: I did not. *sighs* so many things were damaged in my house.

Interviewer: If you were stranded on a deserted island, what would you bring?

Jack: A Glock 17, a dagger, and a book on edible plants.

Interviewer: What is your spirit animal?

Jack: What? I don’t know. I’m not even sure what that means.

Interviewer: It means, actually, never mind that. What is your favorite weapon?

Jack: A sword. Silent and effective. And I don’t have to reload a sword, so that’s a plus.

Interviwer: If you could have control over another Element, what would it be and why?

Jack: Earth. Have you talked to Mark yet? His skills are absolutely incredible! It would be amazing to just disappear right in front of people, with absolutely no trace of ever being there.

Interviewer: Last question. Once you destroy the Lab, what are your plans?

Jack: Oddly enough, I think I’m going to join the military. I have the skill set, shit I’m a super soldier! I’m a weapon of war. I know it seems ironic, but I’m good at this. I like being a leader, and I like helping people.

Interviewer: Wow, I did not expect that. No other career choices?

Jack: *laughs* Well, it’s not like I’m going to be baker. I don’t have the kind of skill set. I spend twenty two years being trained for war. Might as well use it for something real.
